Facilitating Conflict Resolution Through Mediation

Choosing mediation is opting for the guidance of an impartial third party to resolve a conflict or disagreement. Instead of engaging in disputes or filing a lawsuit, the parties involved discuss their issues with the help of a neutral mediator, who facilitates communication and helps them to find a mutually agreed solution. The mediator does not take sides or make decisions for them but assists in clarifying viewpoints and finding common grounds.

Mediation offers a faster, gentler, and less costly way to resolve disputes.

The types of mediation that I practice in the workplace

Project Mediation: To facilitate communication and restore trust among project stakeholders, ensuring successful collaboration and allowing participants to focus on their tasks.

Interpersonal Mediation: To facilitate dialogue between individuals in conflict, such as relational difficulties between colleagues, between an employee and their manager, or between an employee and their management. Conflicts may arise from disagreements over job performance, harassment, discrimination, or unequal treatment.

Collective or Group Mediation: To facilitate dialogue within a workgroup in conflicting situations, such as between a manager and their team, between teams, or between employee representatives/unions and the management of the company.

Organisational Mediation: To help support organisational stability by restoring relationships between employees and the organisation while re-establishing a balanced distribution of power and a sense of fairness. It addresses conflicts that impact the overall operations of the company.

My Approach to Mediation

Certified mediator from IFOMENE (Catholic Institute of Paris), I assist companies and individuals in resolving disputes in a constructive and confidential manner through mediation.

Registered on the list of mediators of the Paris Court of Appeal, I also intervene in court-ordered mediations.

I am a member of the French Professional Syndicate of Mediators (SYME).

My role is to create an environment where everyone feels equal and to support them in enhancing their ability to coexist and communicate effectively. By actively listening, valuing diverse perspectives, and promoting acceptance and respect, we can achieve solutions that address the needs of all parties involved.

All of this is carried out in accordance with the mediator’s code of ethics.
